Youth at the Grove

A place for middle and high schoolers to belong

We believe that some of the most important years of a person's life are the ones between 7th and 12th grade — and we want to walk alongside students during those years in a way that's real, honest, and actually fun.

Youth at the Grove isn't a program. It's a group of students and leaders who show up, eat together, laugh together, and — most importantly — open God's Word together. We're building the kind of community where a student can ask hard questions, make genuine friends, and discover what it means to follow Jesus.

This Summer: Game Nights!

All summer long we're hosting monthly Saturday evening game nights for students in grades 7–12. Every gathering looks something like this:

  • A short devotional from Scripture
  • Time to pray together
  • Dinner
  • Video games, board games, and weather permits, some outside games.

If you're a middle or high schooler in Larchwood — whether you've been coming to the Grove for months or you've never set foot in a church — you're always invited.

When: Monthly on Saturday evenings

Where: 405 Holder St. in Larchwood

Who: Grades 7–12

Next gathering: June 27th from 6 to 8pm

FOR PARENTS

We know you're trusting us with someone who matters more to you than anything. We take that seriously.

Every gathering begins with a brief devotional — a short, honest look at a passage of Scripture that's relevant to where students actually live. We pray together. We eat together. And then we play games. There's no pressure, no performance, and no hidden agenda beyond this: we want your student to know they're loved by God and welcomed by us.

Questions? We'd love to talk. Reach out through our contact page.

BEYOND THE SUMMER

Game nights are how we're spending the summer, but youth ministry at the Grove is growing. In the fall we'll be looking at what a regular gathering looks like — more time in the Word, more ways to serve, more opportunities for students to grow in their faith and in their friendships.

Stay tuned — and in the meantime, come on a Wednesday night.
